July 15, 2016One gorgeous spring day I welcomed Aoibhinn and her parents into my studio in Chapelizod. Aoibhinn just turned one and we were going to capture her beautiful lively character in photos to mark the occasion. She loved to run and explore the studio and quickly found that the our rocking horse is a lot of fun.

The cake was yellow, we decorated the set with some yellow bunting to give it more spring feeling. It couldn’t be more perfect colour combination to reflect Aoibhinn’s character. She loved making mess. She also loved to share her delicious treat.

As Aoibhinn got bored with the messy fun we moved to the clean up part. Little tub with some water was very welcomed. Full wash up was a must and Aoibhinn did a great job by helping to wash herself. Loads of splashy fun and big smiles along the way.

In the end a squeaky clean baby emerged from a bath and was ready to head home to celebrate her first birthday.
