Cake Smashing fun for Ed’s first birthday celebration.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting and photographing little Ed in his home, just before his first  birthday.

His mum and I had discussed some ideas for the  shoot and I  knew she wanted the photos to look simple and  fun. Ed loved  all the attention and relaxed into the shots  straight away.  After some family shots, Ed was thrilled to see  the cake and got stuck in.

There were some crumbs and even more giggles and laugh as Ed explored the cake and posed for the camera! I was delighted to hear that the finished pictures were on display at Ed’s birthday tea, and were a great surprise to everyone.
